It begins with clean water that passes through a special filter to ensure its safety. Then, the water is poured in big trays and put into a very cold room. The room is so cold it’ll freeze the water in no time. The water freezes, and there you have solid ice to keep things chilled.
Once the water is frozen, it is shifted to a storage depot from which it can be packed and sent to various locations. The big machines help by churning the ice until it is broken into smaller chunks, the size of ice that’s easy for coolers to contain a get nice and cold. Then, the ice is scooped and bagged so it’s ready to go to stores around the city and to area restaurants and events.

After the ice is bagged, it is loaded onto trucks and shipped to wherever it is needed. The trucks are intended to keep the ice cold as it travels. Once the ice is there, it is offloaded and delivered to where it is needed. Whether in a grocery store, at a party or in a restaurant, LZ Ice Factory ice is on standby to keep things cool.

The ice in your freezer is simple stuff, but there is a lot of physics behind it. In the cold of the freezing room, the water molecules begin to move slower, clinging to one another and forming solid ice. This process is known as freezing and transforms liquid into a solid. The ice remains frozen and reverts to water when it warms up.
